U14 Boys – Lamar Strykers are Eastern District Champions!!!
Fall 2009 STYSA District Champs & Spring 2010 Eastern District STC Champs
The U14 Lamar Strykers ended with a 4-0-1 season this Spring! They won 1st place at the South Texas Cup District Championship Tournament held in Cypress, TX May 1st & 2nd . The boys are headed to the State Playoffs May 8th & 9th in San Antonio – Good Luck Boys!!! Bring home the First Place Title!!!

Lamar Heat U11 Girls – Winter Classic Tournament Champs
The Lamar soccer U11 Lamar Heat team won the 2010 Winter Classic for their age bracket. During the tournament, the Heat played in four games allowing only two goals while scoring nine goals. The Heat also had an AWESOME Spring Season; advancing to the South Texas Cup Eastern District Playoffs. Way to go Ladies!!!! We are so proud of our Heat Girls!

Lamar Legends U12 Boys - Winter Classic Tournament Champs
The Lamar soccer U12 Lamar Legends team won the 2010 Winter Classic for their age bracket. This was another DRAMACTIC tournament WIN for the legendary Lamar Legends U-12 Boys, taking 1st over the Cyclones in a penalty shootout! The Legends also had an AWESOME Spring Season; advancing to the South Texas Cup Eastern District Playoffs. They made it to the Semi-Finals of the Playoffs to be ROBBED of the advancement to the Finals. Great Job Boys!!!! We are VERY proud of you!!

Become a Soccer Referee & Get $$ PAID $$ !!

Parents help support your soccer stars & Players help support the Club! Lamar Soccer has Referee positions available for Adults & Youths. Register and attend one of the referee clinics and learn the ropes as an Assistant Referee for HYSA and Lamar Soccer Club youth games.
Referees are PAID for each game!!
Each club in HYSA must referee a certain quota of games each season. Lamar must meet that quota so Club teams can advance to District & State playoffs. If a club fails to meet its Ref Quota, NO teams from that club may advance to District & State.

Refs & Asst Refs receive $17.70 - $40 per game. Certification classes run about $50 and a Referee uniform runs about $50.
After refereeing your first 5 games Lamar reimburses you $25 on the initial certification fee & $25 on the Uniform.

The Lamar Soccer Club's Board of Director's meetings are held every 1st Wednesday of the month at the Pecan Grove Fire Station (upstairs) at 7:00pm, located on Pitts Road.
